We will head out of Gold River to Roseville, Loomis, and Newcastle. The forecast is not calling for rain or freezing temperatures, so we should enjoy a beautiful day riding in the rural areas of S. Placer county.
In addition to the 64-mile route, I am also adding a 45-mile route. Initially, both routes follow the same roads and trails, stopping at Bru Coffee House in Loomis at mile 22.
The short route returns to Gold River via Val Verde and other well-traveled roads. The long route will go up to Penryn and Newcastle before it returns to Gold River. Due to the long route length, there will be an additional rest stop at a Starbucks at mile 45.
1. If you downloaded the routes before 1/25/2023, please re-download them because I made some changes, especially on the short route.
2. The start time has changed to 8:30 AM. Due to the long route's length, we need to start earlier. The original 8:00 AM start was in error.
