The ARPF Ride the Parkway is an annual event run by the American River Parkway Foundation (ARPF) to raise funds to support our trail. As we are very frequent users of our beautiful bike trail, our club supports this ride each year. We provide sponsorship as a club and also participate as members in the largest registered team competition. We have won this hotly contested competition twice in a row.<br /><br />Proceeds raised from this event will be placed towards the Parkway Foundation’s Fire Safe Council. The Council’s goal is to mitigate fire danger on the Parkway and protect natural habitat, infrastructure that reside on the Parkway and surrounding homes and businesses from fire. With the increase in fires along the American River Parkway, this program needs the ARPF&#39;s immediate attention and help<br /><br />Registration <br /><br />Until September 1, the registration fee is reduced by $20, so do not wait until later to register. You must register in order to participate in the event and get club miles.<br /><br />Your registration includes rest stops and at the end of the ride a BBQ and music, both of which have historically been excellent.
