The 2024 Party Pardee Team has two raffles to add to the event fun…

30th Year Anniversary Raffle

This year marks the 30th year the Sacramento Bike Hikers Club has put on the Party Pardee event. Keeping with that celebration theme and as a “Thank You” to all our loyal event supporters we are holding a 30th Year Anniversary Raffle. Every registrant for this year's event will be automatically entered into the raffle. And, keeping with the theme, there will be 30 prizes raffled off. The prizes will all be vouchers for next year's 2025 Party Pardee event. There will be 10 vouchers at 100% discount off the registration fee, 10 vouchers at 50% off, and 10 vouchers at 25% off. There is nothing you need to do to enter, your registration is your entry. The drawing will be held the day of the event and winners announced at the event. Prizes will be emailed within the week following the event.

Ride With Friends Reward Raffle

We know you consider Party Pardee as a beautiful, fun ride event, that's why you're coming to the event - right! So, encouraging your riding buddies to come out and join you on the ride is just being a good friend. With our rider limit filling up, we still have room for more riders. Therefore, we thought we'd add a special Ride With Friends Reward Raffle to entice your friends, who have been “on the fence” to join you.

This is how it works. When a friend registers for Party Pardee and enters your name for the "Referred by?" question, during their registration on Active.com, both you and the registering rider will receive one entry each to the Ride With Friends Reward Raffle. The more friends that join the ride and enter your name during registration the more raffle entries you get and the better your odds to win. Only new registrations occurring from March 1st thru event day, April 6th, will qualify for this raffle. (We acknowledge that many of you already referred friends prior to this. We’re sorry if that seems unfair. This raffle is specifically targeting the final month before the event, with the goal to max out our event permit rider limit.)

The Ride With Friends Reward Raffle prizes will consist of 2024 Party Pardee jerseys, t-shirts, and socks. The raffle drawing will be conducted on the Tuesday after the event, with winners notified within the week. The prizes will be mailed to the winners. Winners will have the option of selecting sizes based on availability. If the desired size is not available, an equivalent cost prize or 2025 event voucher will be substituted.

Common Raffle Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to both the 30th Year Anniversary Raffle, and the Ride With Friends Reward Raffle:

Raffle participants do not need to be present to win.
Winners will be notified via email.
Raffle winners will be randomly picked computationally using the Random.org random number generator.
Entrants are not removed for winning; entrants can win multiple prizes.
Prize vouchers are only redeemable for the 2025 Party Pardee event. However, they are transferable.
A parent or guardian must accept the prize if the winner is a minor.

30th Year Anniversary Raffle Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply specifically to the 30th Year Anniversary Raffle:

The raffle will be held on the Party Pardee event date, April 6th, as a virtual online event.
Winners will be announced at the event, and email notification and prizes sent within the week following the event.
One raffle entry will be given to every paid registrant for this year's event. Registrants for Long and Short Routes and Youth all qualify equally.
There will be 30 prizes raffled off. The prizes will all be vouchers for next year's 2025 Party Pardee event. There will be 10 vouchers at 100% discount off the registration fee, 10 vouchers at 50%, and 10 vouchers at 25%.

Ride With Friends Reward Raffle Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply specifically to the Ride With Friends Reward Raffle:

Definitions:

“Prior Registrants” have a valid paid 2024 Party Pardee registration at the time the referral is submitted.
“New Raffle Registrants” are submitters of a paid 2024 Party Pardee registration on or after March 1st, 2024, that provide a valid matchable Prior Registrant name at the time of submitting their registration using Active.com.

The raffle will be held on the Tuesday after the Party Pardee event date, April 9th, as a virtual online event.

Winners will be notified via email and prizes shipped or emailed within two weeks following the event.

Raffle entries are awarded when a new Party Pardee paid registration is submitted through Active.com with the name of a Prior Registrant entered for the "Referred by?" question asked during the registration process, both the Prior Registrant and the New Raffle Registrant will receive one entry each to the Ride With Friends Reward Raffle.

Only new registrations submitted on or after March 1st thru the close of registrations, and providing a valid matchable Prior Registrant name are eligible for entering this Raffle.

Each time a Prior Registrant's name is entered during a paid registration they will earn another Raffle entry. There is no limit on the number of Raffle entries that can be earned by a Prior registrant. New Registrants will in turn, become Prior Registrants, and if referred also earn additional entries.

New registrations with names entered for the “Referred by?” question, in Active.com, that are not matchable to a Prior Registrant, given reasonable effort by the Party Pardee Raffle Team, will be excluded. Neither the new registrant nor the Prior Registrant will receive a Raffle entry. For example, only a non-discernable first name entered, such as “Bob”, would likely be excluded, as would gross mis-spellings. The Party Pardee Raffle Team is not responsible for errors matching names.

New Raffle Registrants do not have to register for the same ride route as the Prior Registrant.

The raffle prizes will consist primarily of 2024 Party Pardee apparel items consisting of jerseys, t-shirts, and socks. The Raffle will have no more than a 10:1 ratio of raffle entries to prizes. Additionally, 2025 Registration Vouchers for 25% off may be added to the prize pool to maintain the stated ratio.

The Sacramento Bike Hikers Club and Party Pardee Raffle Team are responsible only for shipping the prizes. Delivery and receipt of the prize by the winner is the responsibility of the carrier and the recipient.

Winners will have the option of selecting jersey and t-shirt sizes based on availability, in the order of prizes offered. Not all sizes are available for every apparel prize item. If the desired size is not available, the winner can select an alternate 2024 Party Pardee apparel prize of equal or lesser value (pending availability). At the discretion of the Party Pardee Raffle Team an equivalent cost 2025 Registration Voucher may be offered, in place of a 2024 Party Pardee apparel item.

If a raffle winner can not be reached by phone/text/email within a 48 hour period after the Raffle to confirm their desired sizing requirement, the Party Pardee Raffle Team reserves the right to change the selected prize to a non-sized item (which could be of lesser value), or an equivalent cost 2025 Registration Voucher.
