If you skipped the Wed. Barrio ride to The Mill because you suspected you'd end up riding in the rain, your suspicion was correct. Only John Hax and I were brave/crazy enough to venture out, and we started feeling the drops about five miles from the finish line. But for tomorrow's ride to Freeport Bakery it's a whole 'nother story. Although it'll *officially* be a bit chilly at the start, the "Feels Like" temp is predicted to be 62, and skies will be clear, roads will be dry and wind will be negligible (or so say the forecasters). So come on out for some guiltless indulgence (I won't judge) in Freeport's black bottom cupcakes or other delectables, or maybe an apple fritter from adjacent Marie's donuts. It's guaranteed to be a sa-weet outing.... jp
