SBH Ride Updates

UPDATE on 10/17/2024 - 4:45PM

Last night, I learned that a pedestrian/bike bridge is being constructed over Missouri Flat Rd in Missouri Flats. This is great news, as Missouri Flat is a busy four-lane road, and crossing it is always challenging. Unfortunately, the trail at the construction site is currently closed. So, I’ve slightly adjusted to the previous route, bypassing the closed section and using nearby streets. The updated route sheet is attached.

I updated the RWGPS route today around 4:20 pm, so if you downloaded it before then, please download it again.

More importantly, it’s shaping up to be a great day in the hills, and the wind is expected to stay under 5 mph. And after a long climb, the pie is always delicious!

To my surprise, I found out this morning that there’s a 50% or higher chance of rain tomorrow in the Apple Hill/Camino area between 10 am and 1 pm. To ensure a safe and enjoyable ride on narrow country roads, I’ve decided to reschedule the ride for this Friday. The ride calendar has been updated accordingly.

If you have already downloaded the ride, please do it again because I have made some minor changes. I am also attaching the route sheet in PDF format.
