Following our discussion and voting at the April Club Meeting and additional discussion at our April Board Meeting, we decided to make a slight change in the functioning of the General and Ride Updates forums. Up until today, the default behavior when replying to an email that you received from this forum is that that your reply will go to all members of the forum (about 450 members). Today's change causes your default reply to go only to the original member who posted the message. If your intent is to reply to the entire forum, see the links in every forum message (including this one) and choose "Reply to forum at...".
We hope this will make the forums more functional for everyone and reduce the amount of unintentional posting. If it turns out this is a bad idea, it can easily be switched back to the old method.
