This ride goes to the Pure Grain Bakery in downtown Vacaville and returns a different route to Winters for an optional recovery drink or snack at Hooby’s Brewing, ergo the name. The short route goes around the English Hills in a clockwise direction staying on the lower rollers on the west side of the English Hills. It’s 36 miles with about 1000 ft climbing (https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41429095). The two routes split at Steiger Hill and Cantelow Rds. The long route has additional climbs on Cantelow Rd. The climbs up Cantelow Rd are up and back to the top from both sides, so you can just turn around if it becomes too difficult. Also, if you want you can climb both sides of Cantelow Rd. before the rest stop by continuing on down the west side and then turn around at junction with Pleasant Valley Rd and come back up.
