The Bike Hikers will be doing our annual Turkey Ride. You can help make this Thanksgiving a special time for a child, family or senior who’d otherwise go without by donating a turkey or cash contribution ($20 suggested) during this year’s Turkey Drive for the Sacramento Food Bank. Please bring your donation to the ride start, though a donation is not required to participate in the ride.

We’ll have a vehicle to transport the turkeys, or you can carry them with you on your bike. Don’t forget to wear your Bike Hiker jersey/jacket and smile for the camera. Hopefully we’ll get some news coverage.

We will meeting up with the riders from Gold River at the gazebo in William Pond park and all ride together to Cal Expo.

After the drop off, we'll continuing riding on the trail to CAP'S Pizza and Taproom, located near Watt and La Riviera, off the bike trail.
