Ride to Apple Hill B38 (GK)
About this event
It's that time of year to take a scenic ride up to Apple Hill via the El Dorado Trail and enjoy the beautiful fall colors—and of course, reward ourselves with some pie!
The ride begins at the trailhead in El Dorado and continues to Camino. Keep in mind that the trail breaks as we pass through busy downtown Placerville.
Once we reach Apple Hill, we'll ride a 10-mile loop on rural roads without bike lanes. However, traffic should be light since the ride is on a weekday. The rest stop will be at Boa Vista Farms, where we'll enjoy freshly baked pies and other treats.
Ride start location (4500 Oriental St, El Dorado) details: GPS will guide you into El Dorado via Pleasant Valley Road. Turn left onto Oriental Street, across from the post office. Stay left at the Y and follow the gravel road. At the T, turn left into the parking lot.
