2023 Carson Valley Tour
October 1-5, 2023
Where: The Bike Hikers are returning to the Carson Valley!
What To Do: We will start with an easy ride on Sunday afternoon, and offer a set of rides for Monday-Wednesday
Lodging: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Staybridge Inn, 972 Retail Court, Carson City ,NV, which is the same placed we stayed last year.
The room rates per night are quoted below:
- King Studio $159 plus 11% tax
- Double Queen Studio $169 plus 11% tax
Check in is at 3:00 p.m.
Check out on Thursday is 11:30 a.m.
Please register for the tour first, then call 1-775-350-7339 to secure a room with your credit card.
Cancellations must be made by 30 days before arrival (September 1st) for a full refund.

Tour Information: The hotel includes breakfast. A coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge are in your room to help you prepare other food items you may want to bring. .
Sunday happy hour is provided by the tour leaders. The hotel offers Happy hour Mon-Wed night afternoon, and tour leaders will also augment this. Alcoholic beverages are responsibility of each participant.. Be sure to make the first Happy Hour on Sunday for a welcome gathering and to get the next day’s ride information. Remember that the morning starts can be cool and foggy, but may burn off to sunshine later. Be prepared with appropriate clothing options.
On-line registration will open on Monday, July 24, at 8 AM. Please do not reserve a room until you have registered for the tour on the Bike Hiker website.
You must be a club member to register for the tour. Club Members who have ridden at least 5 rides in 2022 or thru 6/30/2023 will be given priority during the first two days of registration and must register themselves (i.e. no guest registration, even spouses). Starting July 26th any club member may register and may register one guest as well (who must be a club member).
To Register: Login to the BikeHiker website, select Events then Tours. Note: You can also register by opening the Event Calendar and scrolling down to October 1. Select the Carson Valley Tour Registration, and follow the instructions to Register and Pay the activity fee of $30 per person.
A wait list will be created if registration is full. If a spot becomes available, the first person on the list will be notified.
Cancellations: Registrations may be cancelled through September 1, in which case the activity fee will be credited to your BikeHiker account and will be available to be used for future tours and/or membership dues.
For cancellations after September 1st: If your spot has been filled, a credit will be made to your BikeHiker account as described above. If your spot is not filled, no refund will be given.
In any case, you will be responsible for cancelling your hotel reservation directly with the hotel.
