Based on what little feedback I've received concerning the scheduling of Barrio ride routes, instead of offering a specific route for each ride date for the upcoming calendar quarter, on an experimental basis one of three sets of routes will be available for a given ride. The day's route will be chosen by consensus.
Under this system no ride description can appear on the Event Calendar, but descriptions can be accessed by finding prior Calendar listings. Prospective attendees are advised to familiarize themselves with the specifics in advance so as to have a preference come ride day, but to also be prepared to do any of the routes available on that date.
Since most rides start at 9 AM, dates with that start time will offer the most options (two alternating sets of six each). Occasionally a ride will start at 9:30, and on those days just three routes will be available; only one route requires a 10 AM start, which will be scheduled in the traditional way here 'n' there.
As always, registrations are due 12 hours ahead of the schedued start, and cancelations should be made no later than two hours ahead of the start.
