This Thursday, the Folsom PD is cleaning-up an encampment along the Humbug-Willow Creek bike trail. This clean-up involves road/trail closures and the use of a helicopter at the beginning of our ride. We will need to take a detour to avoid the area.
The detour is as follows:
· Turn right out of the House of Mules/Dos Coyotes parking lot to get on Blue Ravine
· Stay on Blue Ravine for about a mile to Russi
· Turn left at Russi using the stoplight and crosswalk to cross Blue Ravine
· Take a quick right onto the bike trail to resume our regular route
This detour will make our ride a little bit shorter, but you always have the option to ride out to the Fish Hatchery and back for an additional 6 miles. You can do this before or after our main ride.
