Spring Blitz starts tomorrow with a kickoff ride out of Gold River. The temp will be between 65F at the start and 80F at 1 pm with winds less than 5 mph. The ride goes to Shady Coffee and Tea in Roseville with a short and long route. Here are RWGPS links for the two routes:

If you’re not up for even the short route you can still come to the start and do your own thing on the ARBT or on streets. Remember all miles ridden from March 21 to April 30 count towards Spring Blitz miles. However, to have your miles count towards the donation to the American River Parkway Foundation and participate in the post-Blitz celebration at Oak Park Brewery on May 12, you need to be registered for the event. To see the event on your calendar and to register, you have to be logged into Club Express. Any one of the Spring Blitz registration events on the calendar between March 21 and 31 can be used, but you need to register no later than March 31 to be counted.
Don’t forget, the ride starts at 9 am from the Gold River Town Center north of Jack Urban Eats (2111 Gold Centre Lane) near the Sunrise side of the parking lot, but come early for the coffee and homemade goodies. I’ll have the refreshments set up by 8:30 am.
