SBH Ride Updates

Egads, are we going to have a warming trend! A predicted 55 degrees at ride start time! Yes, still some cloud cover but maybe my four layers lately not necessary?

I've added a ride to the ride calendar to Panera's at the Palladio for tomorrow. There is the usual 34 miles but also a shorter 26 miles for those of you that may not have been out for some period. It is the same until an early cutoff to the rest stop and the same for all on the return.

Having mentioned "good weather", there is a prediction for light rain overnight. As of Tuesday morning it is supposed to let up around 6 a.m. so the roads should be dry by our start time but ??? So, I'll post a message Wednesday morning by 7 confirming it's a go or not.

Yup, todays ride out of Gold River is on. The rain has moved on and the slight breeze will dry the roads a bit by the time we are on our way.

See ya at Gold River for a 9:00 pedals down.

Before I sent out the email that todays ride is a go, I checked Weather.com, walked outside, etc. The a bit later went out to bring in garbage can and - heavy mist here and a few texts from some who see the same.

So, at this point, I will be at Gold River and hope any mist, drizzle, rain has stopped and roads are drying out and play it by ear.
