After losing sleep over this, literally and figuratively, I am canceling my ride tomorrow to Lenise’s Cafe in West Sac due to rain Friday night. While it appears the rain will stop by sunrise, the gravel routes could be muddy and the Freeport Bridge used by all routes can be very slippery when wet. Furthermore, it’s going to be cool and cloudy during the ride time, so overall not a good day for this ride. Since I usually lead this ride once a month you will have plenty of opportunities to do it another time. I am canceling this ride early so you can do Bob’s ride today instead. Also, remember for Spring Blitz miles you don’t have to do a club ride so you can ride from your home or your favorite start location and you can start later when it might be warmer.
