I also want to point out that even if you don’t ride any miles during the Spring Blitz time period (Mar 22 - April 30) you can still attend the Spring Blitz celebration on May 15 as long as you register. Of course, if you ride then you also help out the American River Parkway Foundation depending on the number of miles your ride. And you have the additional benefit about getting back into shape for riding during the warmer weather.

This is a reminder that Spring Blitz starts tomorrow with a kick-off ride from Gold River to Shady Coffee & Tea in downtown Roseville. There are two routes which are the same until after the rest stop. They split at Cavitt Stallman Rd. after crossing the Bayside Church parking lot on Sierra College Blvd. Here are the RWGPS links for the two routes.

Unlike most times, I will be sweeping the long route, so if you plan to do the short route find a buddy to ride with. The ride starts at 9 am in the parking lot for the Gold River Town Center across from Rite Aid. Be sure to come early to the start since there will be coffee and goodies to eat. And don’t forget to register for Spring Blitz to help raise money for the American River Parkway Foundation, although it’s not required to do this ride. You need to be logged in to see the Spring Blitz registration event in the calendar.
