For those riders looking for a bit of a challenge: we will ride up to Newcastle Produce/Northfork Chai (we decide which location at ride start). We leave from Maidu joining John Hax on his regularly scheduled Wednesday ride. The ride has some steep hills including Powerhouse and includes over 2100 feet of climbing. Some riders choose to shorten it by avoiding Powerhouse climb (38 miles). The ride pace is intermediate; no sweep but regroups so bring a ride partner. <br /><br />Bring suncreen and plenty of water because the weather will be warm! 66 at start and 82 at finish.<br /><br />We usually return around 12:30-1pm, just in time to get ready for the banquet!<br /><br />https://ridewithgps.com/routes/25570645
