Sac Century Challenge Details You Need to Know

Dear Marjorie,

The 2021 Sac Century Challenge is just a little over one week away so we wanted to make sure you had all the details about everything you need to know!
Early Check-In:
September 30: 3-6 p.m.
October 1: 12-6 p.m.
1435 River Park Drive (in the parking lot)
Look for yard flags and pop-ups—you can't miss us. Pick up maps, cue sheets and wristbands.
Ride-Day Parking:
500 Capitol Mall
Cost = Free (Donation encouraged)
The parking entrance is at the back of the building on N Street. No roof-mounted bikes please, that is if you want to ride your bike again!
Ride-Day Registration and Check-In:
Capitol Mall at 9th Street
7 a.m.
Secure Bike Parking:
This will be provided at the post-ride festival by Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA).

Well-Marked Routes and Wrist Bands:
The easy-to-follow routes will be marked with colored arrows that match the color of your rider wristband.
Yellow-100, Pink-63, Green-36, 16-Blue

Rider Support Vehicles:
Or “SAG” vehicles, these will be roaming the routes all day to assist riders. They will have yellow flags and yellow flashing lights on the roof.

Drop Box:
Dave's Pumpkin Patch / Vierra Farms / Clarksburg stop / Isleton stop
Drop boxes will be available for a rider’s extra clothing, etc. If you start with a jacket and need to shed it at some point, leave it at a drop box and a SAG driver will bring it back to the festival for pick up at the Merchandise tent.
Rest Stops:
Numerous water and toilet rest stops are stationed throughout the routes. (See the routes)
Food and Water:
We will serve light breakfast at Capitol Mall before the ride, provide water at rest stops, and serve lunch in Isleton to those riding in the Full Century. All registered riders will receive lunch vouchers for food trucks on Capitol Mall at the end of the ride. And all food and beverages will be served by masked, gloved staff. There will also be hand sanitizer bottles on the tables.
Other:
-Please bring your I.D. on the day of the ride for beer and wine consumption!
-Post-ride festival tickets for non-riders are $10.
-RIDERS, you must be back on Capitol Mall by 5:00 p.m. to have enough time to grab your meal and enjoy beer from the food trucks. All vendors will close promptly at 6 p.m.
-Bike helmets are mandatory for this ride.
-Reflectors and flat tire kits are strongly encouraged.
-We will follow all Sacramento County COVID-19 protocols.
