Celebrate World Bicycle Day with a ride up to Auburn with a stop at The Baker and The Cakemaker.
You will find the RWGPS routes below as well as in the updated calendar. The routes to Auburn split at Gold Hill Rd. The short route turns left at Gold Hill and takes a steady climb on Wise Rd all the way to Ophir Rd. The long route turns right on Gold Hill and proceeds to a steeper climb along Ridge Rd.
The returns are also similar, traveling down Shirland Tract and then split at King and Auburn Folsom Rd.
I also changed the grade on the long ride from B to C since I decided not to ride up to and on Mt. Vernon on a weekday.
I plan to sweep the long route.
