Title: Great Scott Road Ride
Time: 7:30 AM
Grade: D+25, 38, 61
Description: As part of the May is Bike Month, Sacramento County once again will close part of Scott Rd to traffic for the Great Scott Road Ride and Walk event. This is a great opportunity for a beautiful ride out in the country with lots of other cyclists of all levels and with no car traffic once out of Folsom. And, it's a great time to wear your Bike Hiker jersey to show our club's support to the County for making this happen as well as show off our numbers a bit. This is a NO SWEEP RETURN RIDE.
Location: The Scott Road Ride is 25 miles but as in the past, there will be several starting locations and times for short, medium and long options making up Club rides. The long and medium riders will meet and regroup with the short riders for a 9:15 group start from Parking lot 2 at the Palladio.(directions below) The Long ride will start at 5 points at 7:30. Medium ride will start at the Fish hatchery (may have limited parking) at 8:30. Short ride will start at 9:15 after the long and medium riders arrive at Parking Lot 2 at the Palladio.(highway 50 to E. Bidwell, left on Broadstone, left on Palladio Pkwy. and left into the parking lot before Nordstrom's Rack.)
